My name is Cecile, and I’m the lead surface pattern designer behind artkohaus. It feels surreal—and incredibly exciting—to finally welcome you to this little corner of the world that has been quietly growing in my heart for quite some time.If you’re reading this, thank you for being here.

artkohaus was born from a simple desire: to create beautiful patterns that bring a sense of peace, warmth, and inspiration into everyday life. Whether they’re printed on home décor, stationery, travel accessories, or the little things we use every day, I hope each design tells a story and encourages you to slow down, notice the beauty around you, and embrace creativity in your own way.
To me, creating patterns is more than making something beautiful. It is an expression of my soul translated into printed pieces that I hope will find a home in yours. There is something incredibly meaningful about taking an idea that once existed only in your imagination and transforming it into something tangible that can brighten someone’s day.
I truly believe creativity is one of the greatest gifts we can share with the world. What better way to give back than by creating something that makes another person smile?
This journey may never have happened without someone very special: Bonnie Christine.
Her teachings awakened a spark of creativity that had been quietly dormant for years. One lesson, in particular, stayed with me. She reminded us that we don’t have to complicate the creative process. We simply need to take one step at a time, consistently. That simple mindset changed everything for me. Instead of waiting for perfection, I began creating. One pattern became another, and slowly those small, consistent steps grew into what is now artkohaus.
For that, I am deeply grateful.
As I prepare to officially launch artkohaus this August, I couldn’t be more excited to share my work with you. This is only the beginning, and I have so many ideas waiting to come to life.
