Diamond Assembly

One shape. Many arrangements.

Diamond Assembly is an artkohaus exploration of the humble diamond—repeated, layered, outlined, scaled and rearranged until something entirely new begins to emerge.

Created in Adobe Illustrator as part of my continuing pattern studies, the collection started with a simple geometric repeat and developed through experimentation. Some diamonds sit closely together in classic formations, while others are separated by smaller outlined shapes, creating rhythm and movement between the larger blocks of colour.

The collection moves between simple two-colour repeats and more intricate arrangements, with palettes ranging from deep plum and dusty lilac to soft pinks, warm creams, earthy browns, muted greens, aqua and unexpected flashes of orange.

There are hints of traditional argyle and vintage textile geometry here, but the intention was never to make a perfect classic. Instead, Diamond Assembly is about seeing what happens when a familiar shape is pushed, layered and played with.

A geometric study with a little vintage character—and plenty of room for experimentation.
